Now those photographer's are the ones who need the photo workshops! Let's get the colors right at least once in a while, would ya! I have experienced the same thing more than once. As for the workshop, I guess you just have to put it in the 'I saw Charleston' category. It looks like you made the best of it while you were there and that is all you can do. Maybe you should report them to the Better Business Bureau. If they have a customer review on-line, you could voice your opinion there, too. Maybe someone else can be spared the time and expense. My post on this very same is...GOOD FOR YOU DEANNA! My post on this very same issue with the photography class has been delayed for awhile, but as some of you know, deanna and I were at the same conference and my experience also was one of disappointment and feeling that I got something I did not order ( and it was not a rug either) but the same 799.00 photography "class". The main thing I received from this was a 25 cent bag filled with pamphlets that the hotel had in their display, and they had researched restaurants. ( what ever happened to google) I tis a good idea to send a letter to the Charleston workshop folks, or perhaps the boss of the ladies who held the workshop...... and express our concerns. I have been in the hospital and have not been able to address this yet other than expressing my sense of having gotten nothing to the class leader, however, she was surprised at my comments as she had worked hard researching the restaureant s. My thoughts on this are when you are purchasing something like this.... really make sure that they provide a DETAILED and accurate itinerary, and know exactly what other costs there might be. In this "class " they offered no transportation, and when we went in somewhere to photograph... we had to pay the entrance fee, all of our own meals, and my total time spent with either of the two leaders was less than 2 minutes. No review time, no critiquing, not even a hello, do you have any quest ions, how are you doing. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I would happily provide the name of the folks who did this workshop to anyone who is interested, however, privately, and not in a public format. I do feel though that information sharing is something that we bloggers can do to help protect ourselves. Most of us do not have unlimited funds, and deserve a good service when we contract for it . Good for you Deanna for sharing this. !!!! Another FRUSTRATED WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTJeannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08282631333469688624noreply@blogger.com
