Texture Tuesday - Free & Easy x's 2' eDition

Haven't participated in Texture Tuesday for awhile.  Two weeks ago I was in Colorado and last week Kim was away attending Camp Shutter Sisters in California.  I have heard so much about the camp from various "on-line" friends that I am so sorry I didn't attend.  I actually was considering going, and then by the time I made up my mind, it was full!!  Well, you know what they say, "he who hesitants....."  If they have one again, which I understand there is talk of another one next year, I plan on being one of the 1st to sign-up.

Last night I crawled in bed and watched TV....I was really looking forward to seeing the new series "Once Upon a Time".  It is so fun with Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumpelstiltskin, Geppetto, the Wicked Queen, curses...so fairytaleish.  Kinda of an original concept, so different from anything else on TV.  It's fun, I give it 3 stars.  So in honor of Fairy Tales my pic this week is an apple, perhaps a poison apple that could put you into a deep sleep until Prince Charming comes along, kisses you ever so slightly on your rose-bud lips and awakens you from your poisonous sleep.  OK just go with me on this, I know life isn't a fairy tale but a girl can dream can't she??

I used two of Kim's textures, 1st layer Break Free duplicated twice - once at soft light, 2nd at linear burn at 50%.  Added a 2nd layer of Canvas Magic and now sharing with

  11. I watched some true crime shows last night while I knitted. Woo-hoo, I'm a maniac! :)

I would be horrified to go to a blog camp/conference. I'm just too shy in real life.

Love the apple photo -- so red and tempting... have a great evening, Deanna.
