A Black & White Texture Tuesday
Do you know how absolutely, incredibly difficult it is to be thinking in black & white when my world is now so full of color? I know, I know some things look better in b&w just like some things go better with Coke....(huh??) But since Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday is all about b&w this week, here are a couple of my latest attempts. Admittedly they are NOT absolutely b&w, but as close as I'm gonna get today.
And one more....I remember as a child my Mother fixing my hair like this, rolling it in pin-curls thinking it was cute, but when I look at those pictures now, not cute. This little girl reminded me of those photos.
Until next time.....
Until next time.....
Your cracking me up Deanna.... Love that second shot!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, Deanna!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I like what you did with the texture!
ReplyDeleteLove the texture shot, Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLove the texture shot! Wish we had those sweet gumballs here so I could take some shots of them. Will they still be around when I come to visit?
ReplyDeleteThat last photo and your comments about pin curls...you got me there! I have Straight Hair, with a capital S. I remember pin curls, and pink sponge rollers. And sleeping in pin curls or sponge rollers. Then on a nice Midwestern humid Illinois day...all that curl would just straighten right out.
ReplyDeleteGreat images, Deanna!
Such wonderful photos my friend. That last photo makes me laugh.. My Mom did that to my hair.. My hair is so straight.. And the only time she would put it in pin curls is for school pictures.. WHY!! So none of my school photos look like me! Too Funny!
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos, Deanna! I'd rather look at photos of myself in pin curls than all the ones I have of myself with big giant perm hair...ugh, those are pretty bad :)
ReplyDeleteLol at the last one. My grandma used to roll my hair around her finger, secure it with bobbypins and give me a whole head full of Nellie Olson curls. I didn't wear it well...I still cringe when I see the pictures. ;)
