Scavenger Hunt Sunday - The January 20, 2013 Edition

Ooops missed last week, just couldn't get it together and I am lagging behind this week too.  OK..ready, set, go with the challenges this week being:

  • Basket
  • Park
  • Auto
  • Bicycle
  • People Watching
A tisket a tasket a green & yellow white basket....

When I changed this to b&w the park bench looks sorta like snow...but no snow yet...boo hoo!!

And this poor "power wagon" auto has pretty much lost all its power I'd say.

Not exactly a real bicycle...but close enough!!

No, this was not taken recently, but honestly I haven't been out people watching lately, so one from last summer will just have to do.  Caught this sweet couple down at the Riverwalk, enjoying a special moment.

Take a look at what other's have found....

Now that I am done and I take a peek at Ashley's blog, I discover I mis-read one of the prompts...instead of re-cycle I have tri-cycle.  Oh well, too late.

Until next time.....

  4. I just love everyone's interpretations of the clues - and I think the tricyle as a decorative piece is also recycling. Love love love that B&W version - one of my favorite.

  5. I love the one of the park bench. The black & white does make it have a rather "chilly" feel to it.

  20. Fantastic group. I attempted a park bench - it fell flat, but yours is gorgeous. Love the tricycle and what timing on capturing that special moment between the young couple. Nicely done all around.

  21. The bench and the Power Wagon stole my heart. All are great, but I had to give a shout-out to those particular shots. They just really WOWED me! I think the tricycle is a happy accident. So good!

  22. This is one of the nicest photo sets I've seen today. LOVE the Power Wagon. It would take a ton of cash and a lot of TLC, but it could be restored to as good as new. Still I love the character and patina of it just like it sits now.
