The Longest - Shortest Month of the Year

Does February seem to drag on forever??  Well, good news, today is the last day of the longest altho shortest month of the year.  There is snow covering the ground, which I really wanted to happen at Christmas or in January, because now I am ready for some spring-time activity.  But instead of seeing crocus and daffodils I am seeing piles of snow.  As much as I whined about the lack of snow earlier in the winter, wanting, wanting wanting it to appear now it's like too little too late.  Oh we are a fickle lot.

Since it is the end of February I decided to post some of the photos I didn't post during the month.  Some I have played with, adding textures etc. some not.

Linking to Tricia's Watery Wednesdays....

Linking to Little Things Thursdays.

Little by Little

Have a happy Thursday.

"Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says..."Relax, sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end."

Until next time.....

  1. The bright green evergreen tree with the red barn in gorgeous! I also feel like the snow is a little too late, we have been getting it since mid December at least once a week though.
    But now I want Spring!

  2. These are so pretty! It does drag a bit doesn't it - all the snow we got this month made it hard to get out and have fun which made it seem longer to me!

  3. These are all so lovely! I love the one with the lampost and the evergreen tree in the background. HAve hope, Spring Is Coming. That is something that i like about Texas.... I really Miss the Snow before Christmas, but after christmas, I usually feel like Spring, and we do have much warmer weather here. Hope it comes soon for you though.

  6. I'm going to add your Hope quote to my collection, I love it. Finally the snow has gone and the weatherforecast predicts Spring temperatures, YEAH!!! I am longing for Spring too, so today my post is about Spring.

You did a wonderful job by editing those photos, they are all so pretty.

  8. We've had a very wet January and February, so I can kind of relate. I know the rain is good, but enough is enough. I'm ready for spring, too, and although we're seeing a few signs of it, it's not getting here quite fast enough for me. I think I'm finally bored with my images and may start playing around with textures. You've inspired me! These are all marvelous.

I was going to stop posting WW, but I decided to give it a fighting chance, plus I had some help w/ some who didn't want me to stop. =) It's a fun meme...

  16. It just seems like it's been exceptionally cold this month. I'm ready for the trees to have buds and sprout pretty pink blossoms again.

  28. I don't want to rub it in but it is nice and warm here in the desert. The sad thing is I will be whining about how hot it is in just a month or Two. Love you photos. Your editing makes them look like paintings. I love that..
