Dear Bible Study, this is definitely going to be a challenging term. Learning to be WITH God instead of under, for, from, or over God.
Dear Orange, I love your color. It speaks of cool weather, changing seasons, the smell of wood burning, a warm sweater, pumpkin pie.
Dear Book Club, thank you for being so welcoming to my granddaughter, Bailey. She really wanted to be a part of a bookclub but none of her friends were interested, so I invited her to join our group. Granted she is considerably younger than any of us, but young minds can present a whole different perspective. She enjoyed us and we enjoyed her (I am not a bit prejudiced ofcourse).
Dear Son, I am thrilled that you are home. It's been far too long between visits, and I am relishing each and every moment with you.
Life is a song - sing it
Life is a game - play it
Life is a challenge - meet it
Life is a dream - realize it
Life is a sacrifice - offer it
Life is love - enjoy it

ReplyDeleteDeanna,
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been a bit on the blitz too. Earlier this week we say high 80's-low 90's. Yesterday was very windy with a high in the 60's. This morning it was 39* when we woke up.
Your Granddaughter and Son have your smile! I am glad that you get to spent time with both.
I like the quote you shared today. Your pictures are pretty as ever.
Your portraits are awesome. I like the signs of fall you've documented. There is snow on our high peaks today - we're ready for fall.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of your son and granddaughter. So nice that she is now a book club buddy! Take good care and know that you and your sweetie are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful orange-y fall images Deanna -- and I hear you on the weather. Crazy stuff, but it will settle down soon I'm sure.

ReplyDeleteWell, I am slow getting around this weekend what with the craziness that was Friday in our town {see FB FOL Sisters if you've not already}, then the Saturday silliness. But here I am, a peaceful Sunday morning and time to say 'hello'. I do hope you had a great visit with your son! I know you were looking forward to it.
