ReplyDeleteLovely, as always! it's almost unbelievable that October is upon us already!!
ReplyDeleteYes it is... and I hardly can believe it! Gorgeous photo and a good list! I should make my own :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking winter lights, hot chocolate and me & my girls (perhaps hubby too) under warm blankets. Here in Finland it's already getting very dark and chilly.
I think of "all of the above"!
ReplyDeleteLovely picture....
Lovely reminders of all that Fall means to us, Deanna! Love your new mug! Now I am thinking of hot chocolate! Hugs xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love October, it's time to get cozy! And it's also Thanksgiving for us this month too, so lots of turkey. : )
ReplyDeletehey, i used my rake in Sept just last week ... & i sure can use it again, leaves every where ... but today i was in town so it will have to wait. ( :
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest mug....I like all the things on your list plus I love playing in the leaves with my grandkids and snuggling under a warm blanket with a good book....October brings so many changes it should be considered the first of the year....
ReplyDelete• Turning leaves … hope to get some pretty picts in the Black Hills later this week.
ReplyDelete• Football games … Go Huskers
• New TV shows … I am hooked on The X Factor and Grey’s started back up last week.
• Sweaters … Yea!
• Pumpkin anything … I have a pumpkin roll in the back of my mind.
• Corn stalks … I went out to the field and picked up some stocks the chopper missed or ran over. They are now wired to two different posts in my yard.
• Apple picking … I would love to go apple picking in an orchard!
• Shorter days … We don’t have to work until 9 pm and still get to quit at dark.
• Carving Jack-o-Lanterns … I need to find some pumpkins to decorate.
• Chili … I made a batch over the weekend. Chili is a favorite!
• And.....a new mug!!! … My mug is well seasoned and I take it with me everywhere. I know just how full to fill it with coffee before adding my cappuccino concoction.
I love fall too!
pumpkins, witches, putting the mower away (eventually), witches, pumpkin spice latte, baked mac & cheese and chili, football, colorful trees, mums, trick-or-treat, smell of burning leaves, Halloween dessert plates, ... so many things. Love the mug!
ReplyDeleteOh boy - leaf raking - but then, I leave that to Greg who has started leaving it to landscapers. October means cool crisp Autumn days and comfort food!
ReplyDeleteI love that mug! New? Or did you hide it when we were there? I just love fall ... no list required!
ReplyDeleteI think of ALL THINGS FALL...and dressing up for Halloween! cute mug
ReplyDeleteI love your list--so many good things on it! I don't love the leaf raking part, though. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love all things fall, except the shorter days. Your mug is really cute.
ReplyDeleteHappy October!
Great mug I'm getting addicted to Pumpkin Spice Latte in Starbucks !!!
ReplyDeletegreat list and wonderful shot. It certainly says ' FALL'
ReplyDeleteI think time away up north in Traverse City, beautiful colors and unfortunately rain, which seems to be in the forecast for the next three days.
ReplyDeleteAlways glad to see October. That means the intense heat of summer is already a distant memory. Love you list and love each one except raking leaves. :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, that made me adore October! Even though I always wish there were two Septembers. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think it will snow, and I'm usually right! October seems like an in-betwen month with one foot in fall, the other in winter.
ReplyDeleteI think of . . . how it might be Autumn by the time you are having winter. No raking for me, we have Live Oaks! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that mug and the photo of it!
ReplyDeleteYour list is perfect! My favorite time of year for a little of all you listed.
