I hope you have a little time because I have a boatload of photographs to post. First is the "grand" the day before Easter. We had gathered together to celebrate the life of my son-in-law's father who had passed away. He had been quite ill for several months and was in great pain, but he is now in a much better place. I took this sweet picture of my great grand....oh to be nearer so I could take pictures all the time. She is already 7 months old, has her first tooth, pulling herself up to a standing position, doing the low crawl and moving faster than a speeding bullet. Also has 2 words in her vocabulary, Mamama and hi. I know, she is absolutely brilliant.
The next day was Easter Sunday and the 2 grands, the boyfriend, my daughter and son-in-law all gathered to celebrate Easter, enjoying the belly pleasing brunch and the warmest Easter we have had in years.

With the warm weather, Spring in all it's glory has arrived. I went to the Arboretum 3 times in one week, each day seeing some newly emerged beauty.
The Forsythia.....
The Daffodils....
The Magnolia's...
The Azaleas...
The Flowering Trees....
God is good!!

Until next time.....
Matilda Mae is so adorable! I could look at pictures of her all day. The rest of the family ain't bad either. :-D And, oh, the spring blooms! Such a tonic. We've had a lot of rain but the blooms are looking good because of it. It's just tricky to get out there in between showers when the sun does peep through. And the wind! Sometimes I think I live in Oklahoma. So happy to see you here today!
ReplyDeleteShe is so darn cute! Glad things are blooming and good!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you've been enjoying the weather. We've had so much rain and now, the wind! Love the shot of the baby and the one of you and your girls..The flower shots are beautiful -the essence of spring.
ReplyDeleteYour great-grand is gorgeous! What beautiful eyes she has! As always, your photos are so lovely--I'm so glad you share your ventures into nature with us.
ReplyDeleteOh, we are probably a week behind you! I need to schedule an arboretum trip for next week FOR SURE!! Gorgeous post, and nice to see you've been enjoying yourself! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's OK. To neglect a blog. 😏 your family is beautiful...your great granddaughter must be around the same age as my granddaughter. We went to the arborateum the Saturday before Easter...you could see all the green stems of the daffodils, but nothing was blooming yet. Later my husband and I watched the full moon rise at Fermilab. Very unexpected outing! I thought spring was here to stay, but today we had snow. Ugh!
