Gosh, I have been so busy focusing on trying to get the yard, garden, & back porch opened and ready for summer that I feel like I have neglected my blog as well as my blogger friends. I am sorry about that, especially the latter... I appreciate you stopping by and commenting and I feel pretty bad when I don't reciprocate. So apologies...!!
If you recall, I did blog about the canvas deal that was a one-day deal last Saturday. I took advantage of the offer and all my art arrived via Fed X first thing this AM, wow, 5 days start to finish. I have wanted to print some of my photographs on canvas for a while now, and everytime a deal comes up I hesitate because with the gazillion or so photos I have, I can never make up my mind what I want, and then the deals gone. That is so lame.
This time I just thought, ok, let's do this...if I am not happy with the results, it was not a huge amount of money....60% off and surely I can find a spot for them. OK...so this is where I have placed these lovely pieces...at least I think they are for now.
And if you want to take advantage of another deal, here is one that popped up today at Photo Dough. Now that I have taken the plunge, I may jump in again. How about you....have you had your prints placed on canvas? Do you like the results...have you a particular company that you would recommend?

How lovely your art works look in your cozy home, Deanna! :)
ReplyDeletereally nice - especially when canvas print is near the real blooms!
ReplyDeleteAmazing artwork! I really would like to get some wall art of my peonies. I just don't ever get around to it!
ReplyDeleteThose are great! I've thought about it but haven't done it. Maybe I will one of these days...
ReplyDeleteWow, they are all perfect. Photos, placement, everything!
ReplyDeleteI laughed when you mentioned not taking advantage because you weren't able to select a photo. I did that last week when you shared the last offer. I just could not make up my mind and I let my chance slip by. But today, I decided on the location first and the photo was then obvious. - Insert "self head smack" here - Thanks Deanna for the push.
Swoon! They are gorgeous! You've convinced me!
ReplyDeleteWell, that is SUPER! I want to try that with some of mine!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!!! how awesome to see your beautiful art all around you! that canvas by your tea cups is stunning.

ReplyDeletegreat results Deanna and like you, when I've considered it at all, then I've considered it 'too hard' and let it slide. Wondered how good the reproduction might be etc. Yours look SO good; did they come up to your own expectations and hopes?
ReplyDeleteGosh, these are gorgeous!! Which company did you go with? That ranunculus in the stand next to the mirror is my favorite.

ReplyDeleteOh how bright and cheery your home must be. These are lovely and I love that you went Big! Thanks for sharing, I really must try a canvas wrap. I have a question though, do you think printing on canvas enhances or detracts from any of the textures you apply? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteMy Fedex guy never brings me stuff like this!
