Last Saturday my favorite son-in-law (I only have one, but he still would be my favorite if I did have more), Sam came with tools in hand to hang a shelf that I had purchased a while back at, you guessed it, Home Goods. My collection of tea cups and little momentous were scattered on bookshelves, table-tops etc and now with the hanging of the shelf I have them all together. Ta Da!! Well, not everything, but alot.
There are a total of 25 little cubbies, each measuring approximately 5x5, just shy of being able to include the saucers along with the cups. Oh well, I am happy with these and to have 25 cubbies large enough to hold saucers as well would be pretty darn BIG, too big to hang on any of my walls.
Picked up these little figurines in England and packed them carefully in my suitcase for the trip home. At the time we were there we had a dog, Casey (Cairn Terrier) that looked exactly like this. Don't know why I bought the cat, just liked it, I guess.
And finally, my entry for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday....the hydrangeas turn such a lovely red in the fall and I think they are especially lovely with Kim's "Oh My" texture with 2 layers. The 1st Soft Light 100% opacity, the 2nd layer at Linear Burn at 56% opacity.
Have you had any excitement in your life recently? If you have, I hope it was good excitement!!
