Scavenger Hunt Sunday - The December 16, 2012 Edition

My heart is very heavy this weekend for the loss of all those sweet lives and I almost decided not to participate this week in the Scavenger Hunt Sunday.  But the prompts were so full of life that I think participating will bring some cheer back.  The prompts this week are:

  • Sparkly
  • Door
  • Decorate
  • Stripes
  • A few of my favorite things
Yesterday was my daughter's (she owns a dance studio) dance recital dress rehearsal.  I always have camera in hand ready to take pictures of all those sparkly costumes.

Not the most spectacular door, but it's mine....

Oh boy, do I decorate and decorate and decorate.....

And stripes....what would Christmas be like without the stripes from candy-canes...

One of my favorite things at Christmas-time are the beautiful Paperwhites that bloom on my windowsill and smell delightful.

To bring some cheer into your life today hop on over to Ashley's and Madge's blog and enjoy the delights.  Also sharing at Madge's Weekly Top Shot and Rebecca's The Simple Things....

Until next time.....

  5. You are a girl after my own heart! When it comes to Christmas, I am a more is more kinda girl. I love to decorate.. We own a hunting lodge, so I don't always get to put up as much as I would like. However, I slip in as much as I can. I love all of your photos!

  12. I wondered if posting would be appropriate this week too, but then decided yes. I've been thinking about what photographs would mean to these grieving families. That spurred me on to want to be better and better, so I could create memories for others.

Visiting here is always a joy. I love your images!
