Scavenger Hunt Sunday - The March 18, 2012 Edition

Good morning to all....hope all you Irishmen/women and all those who suddenly become Irish for the day had a happy St. Patrick's Day.  I wonder how long it will take the green dye they dump in rivers, ponds & fountains to disappear?  They actually dye the Chicago River green for the day....not too appealing, eventho I love the color green. Somehow it just doesn't seem right.

Well enough talk of green...let's begin this week of Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday.  The prompts for this week included:
  • Vintage
  • Word or Quote
  • Nature's Own
  • People
  • My Choice
Vintage - Didn't have to look too far for these jewels.  These were my Mother's child tea set when she was a young girl.  I have no idea how old this set is, but it has Germany stamped on the bottom, wonder if her Mother brought them over from the "old country".

Word or Quote....

People....the two boys are brothers, the girl in the middle is brother on right's girlfriend.  They were all 3 sitting in the back of a pick-up truck...I asked them to stick their heads over the sides of the truck so I could take my "people" shot.  More than 2 is people...

Nature's Own....I was trying to get a photo of one of the birds that has been visiting the feeder lately, but not today...instead I took this image of these sweet little flowers that are popping up in my garden.

My choice....still practicing with b&w's....

And adding this to Nancy's Sunday Best....

Hop on over to Ashley's to check out all the goodies...it's always a fun hunt.

Until next time.....
