A plain pine cone hanging from a tree with snow falling becomes a rather beautiful site.
The fence is on the left side of the image....
When the weather turned cold and the snow began to fall...the geese decided to get outa town fast.
This morning it is snowing...there is such a peace that surrounds me at the sight of new fallen snow...
Everyone...have a beautiful Sunday!!

ReplyDeleteYou got your snow!YAYAY!! We got a teeny tiny bit, enough to have a school snow day on Friday, don't know about tomorrow yet. Anyhow ... love your pictures and the quotes are just perfect for each one. I seldom pick a favorite since I like them all so much but if you held a squirt gun to my head, I'd choose the one with the fence.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, my friend! Stay warm.
Oh SNOW finally, and your photos are just lovely. There is nothing quite like the peace of it snowing! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the left and fast photos! Very pretty and love them in b&w.
ReplyDeleteI see you got your wish some snow lovely photos especially the one of the gate beautiful.....
ReplyDeleteI'm not a snow lover (what the hell am I doing living in Maine?), but your pics make it look fun and beautiful. I'll give you that. And you're right, while it's falling there is a peace, and a hush, that takes over.
ReplyDeleteDeanna!
ReplyDeleteThese were just fantastic! Love that snow for sure.

ReplyDeleteOO that lone pine cone! Love your finds this week!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! The shot of the geese flying is my personal fave and the plain pine cone transformed by the beauty of the snow. Glad it is snowing for you!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding group - love the quotes as well (especially the left sided fence). I struggled again this week - probably my brain being on strike or something.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of how you displayed the prompts. Your snow looks a lot prettier than the sooty remains on our streets.
ReplyDeleteFor me this is the most beautiful hunt I've ever seen, so don't ask me to choose a favorite.
ReplyDeleteAt FOL I wrote that Viv is a talented photographer (and she is), but about that I can be crystal clear.
You are my favorie photographer!
Enjoy the snow,
B.
Looks to me like you handled the prompts perfectly - no worries. I was a bit baffled too this week, sometimes things don't seem to jump to mind at all which is why I enjoy the visiting of our photographers' blogs so much :)
ReplyDeleteGreat work xx
So glad you're getting your snow finally.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set this week my friend - you did great on all the prompts!
These are lovely responses to the prompts!
ReplyDeleteWhat great shots - love the geese in formation and the pine cone especially! I rode the chairlift with a gal from Chicago this AM. She was complaining about the cold there! (It's cold here, too, but the sun was shining and she was skiing, so I guess she forgot about it.)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteYou did a lovely job with your hunt!!
