Dear Marti, you are definitely one of the best and dearest friends any girl could ever have....I know the BG loves you with all her heart.
Dear Elaine, what would we do without your love, your kindness and your wonderful wisdom...
Dear Girlfriends....you provide so much joy to the birthday girl. She can't begin to tell you what your friendship means to her..Your helped the birthday girl get through some pretty tough times.
Dear Kelly, if it wasn't for your sweet Mother, the birthday girl would have never met some of the wonderful women in her life. Tell her I think the BG may still be upset with her for closing the Stamp Shack those many years ago. That was the best job the BG ever had and all the fond memories still linger.
Dear Sue Ann & JoAnn, what good friends you are to the BG....Sue Ann you presented the BG with the cutest apron with cherries (oh so cute) and with her name embroidered (by the very talented Sue Ann). She wore that apron for the rest of the day, happily posing for pictures in her new attire. And JoAnn, you gave her a book filled with tidbits, you know how the BG loves tidbits of information to share on her blog.
Dear the Day After, the BG is still relishing the thoughts of yesterday, reliving the moments in her heart and feeling so blessed to have a bounty of good friends.

ReplyDeleteWonderful post! Thanks for sharing. Did you cry? I would have cried. Love those tulips in wellies, I need to remember that. I think Campbell has some she's outgrown. This was a well-deserved party because I know you are a loving, giving friend, too; it's always a two-way street. (Quick story: Seeing your apron and blouse combination, I must share this with you. Campbell's father supervised her wardrobe this morning. She chose a pink and white striped shirt and a pink plaid skirt. When her mother gently told her "for future reference" that stripes and plaids don't generally go together, she sobbed. She was so proud of her efforts.)
