It's Never Too Late To Keep Exploring

Life is a journey

A wonderful adventure

But some people just wander around in a continuous circle, caught in a rut....

Break out, become an explorer

Try new ways, new things.  Explore new paths....

Take the long way home...

  3. You are so wise and wonderful. Love the quotes and the photos are amazing (as always!). If I HAD to pick a favorite it would be the 4th pick down with the lines of the fence. The light is amazing there!

  6. Deanna I just LOVED that walk and those fence posts are a favourite of mine to photograph. I must say that photographing them during the golden hour like you makes them look superb especially in No 4. What a barn - great textures and colours in that painted exterior and in your palette aswell. Thanks for joining in this week :)

  8. I love this...you're so right! I've been hiking up in the mountains (too many pics to even want to look through them yet); I was like a little kid in a candy store (orange mushrooms, baby birds in the side of a bank, etc.) I found so many treasures...it made me want to live outdoors to test my survival skills (until I remembered the lure of plumbing, electricity, and Internet). :)

Beautiful photos...my faves are that incredible barn and the magic you created with those simple stumps.

  15. What a very interesting rural photo journal, Deanna. I came for the historic old barn with that remarkable weathered American flag but so much more as we hiked through the countryside with you and your camera. Really your intimate, closeup perspective on your different subjects.
