The August Break - Aug. 7 - A Walk in the Garden

A walk thru the garden in the early morning hours is one of my greatest pleasures.  To catch that early morning light, the stillness before the winds begin to blow, and that fresh look on the faces of the flowers before the heat of the sun begins to wilt their petals....priceless.

Linking to Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday where "It's Anything Goes"....

"When the world wearies, and society ceases to satisfy, there is always the garden."  ~  Minnie Aumonier

Until next time.....

  3. You got some awesome photos from your garden! Impressive. Is that last one a hydrangea? It looks like a flower I was trying to identify a couple months ago. I was up early this morning (not by choice) and spotted a hummingbird at the feeder. Wish the light had been better and my camera ready.

  4. These are lovely.
I go out in the garden early, too. But, then I get busy lugging watering cans and doing chores that need to be done, and before I know it, I've lost that wonderful light. I need to change my priorities.
    Thanks for the inspiration.
