Spring Comes to a Neighbor's Yard

With camera in hand I walked to my neighbors, where, if there were any signs of spring, their yard would be the first to show that Spring was surely on its way.  I wasn't disappointed.  The snowdrops were in full bloom, along with a few crocus.  Believe me, this was a sight for sore, tired, winter weary eyes.  On my hands and knees, flat on my belly you could find me joyfully taking these pictures.

As I walked toward the blooming snowdrops I passed by another neighbor's tree that just happened to have Mr. Robin perched quite nicely among the left-over dried red berries.

Guess who else is glad it's spring.  Toby loves to spend the entire day outside when the weather begins to warm up.

And one more, oh I shouldn't say one more, I have dozens more, but one more TODAY of the ranunculus.

Letters on Friday

Dear Anonymous, would you leave me alone already.  You have flooded my inbox with frivolous, worthless, scandalous messages which do not and will never get published as comments on my blog.  So give it up.

Dear Spring, whaaat happened??  Last year the flowering quince was already in full bloom....this year, nothing, absolutely nothing.

Dear Bunco Babes, you are so fun, with your chatter, your good food, and your hugs for everyone....altho my pockets were empty at the end of the evening and I came home with no winnings on Monday night, it's always a fun night, winning or not.

Dear Bookclub Babes, you're fun too. You have expanded my world and brought me tales that have swept me away to different lands, different times, scared me, made me cry, made me laugh, and always entertaining with your words. PS...I have not read any of the books on the stack...these are all recommendations from friends and blogger buds.  I have more books on my TBR pile than I have food in the refrigerator.

Dear Tulips, you gave such pleasure for a whole week, but today I said goodbye to you, as your petals dropped like the leaves in Autumn.

Dear Beyond Beyond and 52 of You...I am failing miserably at keeping up with the lessons.  Since the cold continues, maybe this weekend will be the perfect time to catch up.

Would so appreciate a hop over to my collaborative blog...Focusing On Life where I am reminiscing on Easters past....
