FOOD - You know what they say...."an apple a day..."
IN DISGUISE - This is my sweet neighbor, Kellie, trying desperately to disguise herself as a Vampire for Halloween, but I saw right thru those fangs.
PHOTOGRAPHER'S CHOICE - Currently I am taking a class from Tracey Clark, the founder of "The Shutter Sisters" entitled "The Art of Composition". This week our focus is on b&w. These leaves are a beautiful shade of orange, but in coverting this to b&w they took on a whole different look. I don't normally convert many of my pics to b&w, but Tracey is helping us to realize that even without color there is beauty.
So there you have it, another Sunday, another Scavenger Hunt. Hop on over to Ashley's place for more great finds.....
Love the texture on your first two shots! Great set of photos.
ReplyDeleteNice set, and lovely processing. the purple is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow Deanna, all of these are just stunning! I love the textures on your first two, and I quite fancy the b&w -I think black and white allows you to see what you would otherwise miss if it were in color and can be more thought provoking.
ReplyDeleteOh my stars.. these are fabulous.. Every single one of them!!! Hope you have a happy day my friend.. Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely collection for this week's hunt. The b&w is so very nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat set Deanna! I think my fav is your "shapes" capture. The whole composition from close up, to perspective, to subject matter...beautiful! And I KNOW you missed Scavenger Hunt last week....I was looking for you! :) Glad you are here this week!

Great collection! You are so great at textures!! Love the composition in your last one!
ReplyDeleteTracy's class sounds really interesting. Is it an on-line class or in person. Amazing how the black and white conversion really had an interesting impact on the photo.
