I am constantly in awe of the colors of Fall that surround me. Looking out any window of the house I am embraced by the golds, oranges, reds, greens & purples. It is a shame that this season literally blows away. I wish it would stay longer, but the winter winds have already began kicking up in my corner of the world. I understand we even had a trace of snow somewhere around here yesterday, altho I didn't see it. But I must admit when we do get that first covering of snow, I get just as excited as I do when I see the first buds on the trees in Spring, or the glorious flowers that bloom in the Summer, or those colors (sigh!!) of Fall. I do believe I understand why Mother Nature is a woman. We women get excited by buds on trees, or that first snow, or those colors. Oh well, I will admit there might be one or two men that get that same excitement (ie: P. Allen Smith) but not like us women. Most men grumble at those falling leaves, and they certainly are not excited by any snow....snow means shoveling, problems with transportation etc etc. And forgive me if your "man" loves all those seasonal changes, but in my "man" world, seasons don't excite them.
