OK, love that greeting with my Texas heritage...!!! And fyi that font is called Channel it's FREE and you can find it here. Found this, along with several other great fonts on PINTEREST. You do PIN don't you? So many ideas, so many great recipes, so many fyi's and dyi's for us adults and young'uns too. If you are not pinning, I definitely encourage you to get on board and delight in the fun. It is truly a feast for your senses. WARNING, it can become addictive, so don't login if you are leaving in 5 minutes, or dinner is on the stove, or you might just miss your appointment or dinner might not be eatable. Just sayin...
And the lovely texture is from the lovely & ever so generous Kim Klassen who I will shortly have the pleasure to meet in person and thank her personally for her generosity. Yes, I am one of the lucky ones going to Palm Springs, CA and joining many friends for a 4 day Camp Oasis with Tracey Clark and the Shutter Sisters. I am leaving on the 16th for Phoenix and then joining 4 other ladies on a road-trip to Palm Springs on Sunday morning, Oct 21st, where we will meet with all the others (about 78) for 4 glorious days of inspiration, learning, friendship and fun. Can you tell the excitement is beginning to build??
Adding a couple of more snaps from Red Bud Farm on Sunday...such a delight!!
I came home from the farm with a couple of little goodies....the little wheelbarrow that currently sits on my kitchen windowsill filled with teeny tiny scented pumpkins and a bunch of bittersweet that I have added to my outdoor planting on the porch.
And from the early morning trip to the Arboretum...
And one more of Kim's textures, my favorite lately entitled "dreamin"... I love this little piece of grass with it's beautiful purple stems and it's hanging seed pods...have no idea what it is or if it is a weed or a grass, but it was standing tall in a field.
And finally, my Toby, enjoying the cool weather that has arrived. What is not to love about Fall!!
Joining Kim for Texture Tuesday....

Until next time....
Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteOh, and yes, I do LOVE, LOVE, LOVE autumn.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely, but what really caught my attention was the one from the arboretum, Would that be Morton's by any chance? I'm originally from the Chicago area and spent many happy moments at Morton's Arboretum.
ReplyDeleteKeep posting about that wonderful trip planned later this month, some of us will love to live vicariously through you. <3
love your sweet pup. lots of gorgeous shots, here. i like the branch of leaves, just above that red grass. :)
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, i do love fall. i really enjoy all views. my fav is the seat (bench) within the fall field & path. gorgeous!! i was wondering about Toby had not seen him in a while. so cute!! (:
ReplyDeleteMan! You've got all these glorious colors and now you get to go on a dream trip! So glad you are getting to do that; can't wait for you to report back with stories and photos. Nice way to end the post with Toby. He is adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Deanna,,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment on my guest post today. I had to chuckle when I saw your first photo today - too cute! Now, can I tell you how envious I am that you get to meet Kim AND go to Oasis? Good for you! Had I not had a conflict with vacation dates at work, I totally would have been there. I am definitely going to the next one... Enjoy yourself and give Kim a hug for me!
Warmly,
Sharon
Lovely images! And just what I needed for inspiration. I've set aside tomorrow for a marathon photo shoot now that fall is here and the rain is clearing out. Besides, I've got posts and prompts coming up ... I need some photos! Thanks for the kick in the pants.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until the 21st ... although I'm nervous, too! :-D
All of these wonderful Fall images just reinforce what I already know - I need to get off my duff and get my decorations out. NOW. Enjoy your impending trip.
ReplyDeleteLoving your fall images. Not much color here on the leaves. Oct. 15 is usually peak, depending on rain and temp. Right now my deck's full of brown leaves brought down by the rain!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful trip to Palm Springs. How lucky everyone will getting to meet you!
On your Autumun colors are just wonderful! Would like to see more of this :)

ReplyDeleteOh yes...I pin...and oh yes....Pinterest is addicting! I only live about 2 hours from Palm Springs but work, hubby's schedule (airline pilot), and a son at home prevents me from going...but I bet by next year, it'll be my turn to be able attend a Camp SS!! Are you ladies taking the 10 to PS? You'll love it there. Haven't been in years. I know you will have a blast. Beautiful photos Deanna
