These are all pics of the Bridal Veil Viburnum bushes that are growing in my yard and my neighbors yard. Aren't they pretty?
Adorama is having a $5.00 sale on 16x20 poster size prints, so decided to have this made into one. The poster was $5.00, shipping was $6.95 hmmmm.
Same flower, different processing....no poster.
As I walked out my front door this evening there was this sweet red robin perched right on top of this red truck. I ran in, grabbed my camera, changed to my trusty Tamron 18-270mm lens thinking all the while that the robin would be long gone before I got back. But nope, there he was, pretty as a picture and posing for me too.
So I think displaying these pics was a better choice than commenting on any of the above subjects, don't you agree? Sharing with Deb at This or That Thursdays and Nancy at Rural Thursday....

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flower shots! At first I thought it was lantana. I have one that is similar in color. I can't believe the robin even waited for you to change lenses lol! It's beautiful shot on the red truck.

ReplyDeleteWonderful thoughts and photos. Love your "There is something..." photo and quote. I saw the Adorama special but shipping is $14.95 to Australia. They had smaller enlargements (14"x10") on special recently and ordered some, the quality is excellent.

Beautiful images of your viburnium and love it against the old moss covered fence. The poster will look great, beautiful job on that. The bird is just wonderful, I must not live right as I don't get them to be patient with me. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteOooh, good for you making a poster! I really could use some help with picking out some of my photos to posterize. My biggest problem is knowing where to put them! I have that same Tamron lens. Love being able to capture things that are far away (and also close)!
