The first one is easy peasy...in the summertime you can find me in the rocker on the back porch, my favorite place during the warm weather months.
And the second one "on my feet" well, not exactly "on" my feet, but most of the times "at" my feet is my sweet, sweet Toby. He really doesn't like getting his picture taken, so naturally he didn't smile. Note to self...Toby needs to go to the beauty shop for a trim.
Before I sign off for today I wanted to share a few more pics from the Arboretum yesterday. It was such a lovely afternoon and I did take a few pics.....
When I first drove up to the Educational Center where they have several lovely gardens planted I noticed quite a few people walking to their cars in the parking lot and they were all dressed to the nines. You do know what dressed to the nines means don't you, or have I just dated myself again? The women all were wearing nice dresses and the men were in suits. Ofcourse I had to ask "what's going on?" A wedding....oh that explains it. And then I saw the bride walking toward me, all smiles since she was now a Mrs. I really wanted to take her picture but since the "official Photographer" was walking with her I thought perhaps not...!! But I did get one of the bridesmaids...look at her hair!!
Doesn't this look like a lovely place for an outdoor wedding??
And a couple more....
Loved the light on these berries...!!

Until next time....

ReplyDeleteHugs~
Love both interpretations and the rest of your images are very nice too.
ReplyDeleteWow, the purple hair girl is awesome! Bet she makes for a more interesting photo than the bride. Unless the bride had fuchsia hair or something. Glad you had such a good day at the arboretum with agreeable weather and lots of photos. You did good on Kim's prompts, too.
ReplyDeleteThat chair looks so inviting! I love the colors in the image! And Toby is absolutely adorable... how lucky you are to have him at your feet :)
ReplyDeleteLove the chair and the photo of the berries - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous love the chair shot!
ReplyDeleteI just love your photography, Deanna. Your words are always so gental and wise.
ReplyDeleteToby reminds me of my Mom's dog. They have a similar look to them ... quiet and content with the one they love. Your Arboretum pictures are beautiful.
Your chair photo is awesome and I just love the berry pic and the flowers.
ReplyDeleteYep, I got my chair but played on instagram - love them all, LoVe the purple hair (but you knew I would, right?), and the light in those last two is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove that chair shot..I kinda wish I could wear cool colored hair like that! Beautiful shots Deanna.
ReplyDeleteYour fav chair looks very comfy and Toby is a sweetie! :)

I needed a lift me up moment and you provided it for me, thank you so much Deanna.
Love,

Deanna what a lovely journey! Your photos are exquisite!
ReplyDeleteSqueamish? Me? Not sure I'd be able to invade the wedding environment and grab a photo of that beautiful purple-haired bridesmaid. But that's why I love coming here. You rock lady. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat set of pictures from what appears to be an incredibly beautiful location. And the bridesmaid's hair - fabulous.
ReplyDeletewow purple hair! who would have thought of being brave enough to do that for a wedding but I've just viewed photos of a wedding where the groom was Elvis and all the guests were dressed up as pop stars from the 60's, 70's and 80's along with one arriving in a Womble suit and one as Batman.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is your first one with the beautiful geranium and the coordinating cushion bokeh in the background.
Great shots,love them all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight treat this post is. Lots of beautiful things to look at. I just love your shot of the berries and oh my that Purple Haired bridesmaid, so unique. Toby as always looks darling...he sort of reminds me of Eeyore in this shot.
