3 Aisles Make Me Happy

If you have been following lately you know that I have joined Kim Klassen and her Beyond Layers 52 week course.  This week she encourages us to search for, think about, and write down "things that make us happy".  My list is growing and continues to grow each day.  I don't believe there will ever be an end to the things that make me happy.  Today I thought about Trader Joe's, that small store with only 3 aisles makes me so happy.  I decided this morning that having a bunch of red tulips was an absolute necessity which meant I needed to make a trip to Trader Joe's.  Now I know there are other places that could supply me with a bunch of red tulips, but not a happy place like Trader Joe's.  Walking thru the front door, the flowers are displayed smack dab in front before you can even begin the fun food shopping that awaits in those 3 meager, but pack-filled aisles.  Disappointment washed over me...there were no red tulips.  Oh no.  Not to worry, there were enough flowers that I was able to soften my disappointment with a mixed bouquet of roses, daisies, lilies, & greens and a couple of bunches of daffodils.  Daffodils oh my.  Spring has sprung in those 3 aisles at Trader Joe's.  And to make the trip even better was purchasing and about to be devoured, Chocolate Filled French Toast.  Does that sound decadent or what??  OMG, I know French Toast is supposedly a breakfast food, but I am very tempted to pop one in the microwave right now, mound it with a generous scoop of vanilla ice-cream and enjoy it no matter what the clock says.  Now you tell me....how can roses, daisies, lilies, daffodils and chocolate french toast not make you HAPPY!!!!  Add that to your list!!
