First up, my entry for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday, with the theme of light. The light from the sun shone beautifully giving all the images a lovely soft look with its early morning light. I used Kim's "Let Go" texture. The first layer at 100% soft light, and the second layer at linear burn with 43% opacity. I erased the texture from the flower with a brush set at 42% opacity. This beauty is called "Love in a Mist," a perfect name for a perfect flower.
I love the way the early morning light filtered through the trees...
And a tulip tree getting ready to bloom...on my!!
Even the spent peonies are lovely...
And these multi-color petals were outstanding...

Thank you for visiting my blog!! I have seen "love in a mist" in garden catalogs and was always intrigued by it. I'm going to have to try to grow some in my garden!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely...you did such a nice job with this.
ReplyDeleteSo much of love can be *in the mist,* can't it?
Or in this case, in the light ;>}
Gorgeous! I have never even heard of a tulip TREE. Always learning something from other bloggers. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.

So beautiful - I had forgotten about 'love-in-a-mist' - I just love the photo and lighting and texture!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. I have been wishing we had something like that around here. We have several parks and one even has a rare bird sanctuary. Been thinking about going there to see what pictures I can come with. Course if I could get up with sun and go take pictures right then I could most likely come up with a few too. Love the pictures.
