Also stopped by Home Goods (uh oh) looking for a new little lamp for the back porch. No lamp, but you guessed it, more cups (oh what a sickness I have), a new little sign that really points its finger right at me, and new cushions for the adirondack chairs in the side yard. I love that store.
Off to Ace Hardware to replace the handle that fell off of the outside water spigett. I asked for help in locating it and the "nice" man told me I needed a plumber...no, I don't need a plumber I need a handle. Oh he irritated me, demeaning, got real smart with me about how long, how short, is it frost proof, how far it was away from the water supply....etc. I finally got it thru his feeble head that all I NEEDED was a handle, not the whole damn thing, sorry, he got me going with his "talking to the little woman" attitude. And that's when I decided I needed a nap.
Mr. C has claimed this feeder as his own. Love sitting on the porch and watching him.
The new cup along with a new matching pitcher that I use for a vase....filled with roses & peonies from the yard. Ahh the aroma is heavenly....
And that word I mentioned earlier....must be a lot of us if they make a sign just for us.
You know I always have hoped that I will change, but it doesn't last, I am weak and know it. Is there a 12 step process for Procrastinators?
Hope you have a lovely Saturday doing whatever you want to do....

Until next time....
Oh, we don't have a Home Goods in the entire state of OK! I LOVE the polka dots. Men kind of talk down to "the little woman" don't they? Which is why I keep telling myself I need to learn more "manly" skills.

When you find that 12 step program for procrastinators please let me know. I'll be right there with you. Have a happy weekend.

Instead of cups, I've been collecting little vases and pitchers- and have absolutely no place to store them! Well, little lady, you did a fine job on your pics! The roses are gorgeous in that new pitcher.
ReplyDeleteI see myself in almost everyone of your posts...I need the Procrastinators 12-Step Program too!
If there is a 12-step program for procrastinators they've probably postponed the meetings.

Dotti
Love the polka dots - you have a cloth to match? awesome!
ReplyDeleteI need a 12-step program for HOME GOODS! And...I need a new cap for MY Tamron too!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your witty post! Came here from Nancy's place, btw. Lovely shots. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteMr. C may not be a gentleman by claiming the feeder as its own.
ReplyDeletePiling, procrastinating, and collecting: yep there should be a 12-step program for each of them.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon. Dandy photos ~ I especially like the cardinal.
No wonder you couldn't resist those cups adorable and your sign is so funny!
ReplyDeleteDeanna is laying out a dose of reality today! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhy do "some" men think all women are stupid?
Love your sign -- it's my sign too.
Thanks for sharing at YSB this week. xoxo
I've put my lens cap in my bra and have hunted all over for it, only to find it at bed time. LOL
ReplyDeleteI've awarded you the Liebster Blog Award over at my blog. :)
