Yesterday our local Garden Center held their annual Art in the Garden celebration with gardening talks, artists selling wares, a jazz trio playing beautiful music, and ofcourse beautiful garden flowers. I took my camera (no surprise there) and snapped away. So walk with me as I strolled soaking in all the beauty of summer that surrounded me.
Cone Flower in pretty pinks & greens.....
Fields of Daisies...
Hibiscus....
Lovely dahlias....
A Japanese Maple in front of a water feature...
Roses....oh glorious roses...
Not sure what this is, growing in the water so must be some kind of pond flower....
And one more cone flower...love this one with it's orange droopy petals.

Beautiful flowers! Love all the new cone flowers!
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful. I expected my coneflowers to progress more quickly, but the blooms have been at the same stage for a few days. I wish it weren't so hot or I would go to a nearby botanical garden.
ReplyDeleteThose are phenomenal, Deanna. Makes me really want to get to the arboretum. Won't have time for a little while, yet!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! ;) x

ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect place to capture all of these beauties! Thank you for sharing at Your Sunday Best this week, Deanna. :)
ReplyDeleteDeanna - all the photos are lovely, but I adore those cone flowers, especially that orange one. We seem to have the worst luck with cone flowers and daisies and the like. My daughter can grow them like weeds. AND ... I love your summer banner! Nice work.
