I participated in the Liberate Your Art Postcard Swap this year sponsored by the very lovely Kat from The Kat Eye View of the World...A huge THANK YOU for all the work gathering, sorting, stamping, sending...what a task, but I know it was done with love. And today is the day we show-off all the lovelies that came our way due to Kat's vision.
After deliberating and mulling and indecision as to what I was going to share....I decided on one design....go figure. I only have 1,000's of pictures from which to choose.
After finally deciding we were instructed to send 6 postcards, 6 return address labels, and 6 stamps (I think...it's been awhile) and Kat would do the rest. Bless her.
Then the fun began...the postcards began to arrive.
1. The first from Karen Smithey from http://artinthegarage.blogspot.come
2nd card came from Cara who was visiting this lovely spot in Cape May, NJ. Cara can be found at http://imieiduebambini.com
The 3rd card came from Mary in Park Ridge, NJ, no blog.
And the 4th from Teena at www.GodTags.blogspot.com
Number 5 from www.silverkitsune.co.uk with these words "Up on a hill, carved on a rock, three little words, forget me not."
And last, but not least....Kat from kateyestudio.com
Here they are all together...beautiful aren't they?!!!
And finally I also received many others from my "life" sisters who I share a collaborative blog with at http://focusingonlifegrp.blogspot.com/ . Thank you to them as well. This whole experience has been so fun....to look forward to going to the mailbox and find beautiful pieces of art
Thanks again, Kat. Looking forward to next year.
Until next time....
The cards you received are lovely. I also like how you are displaying them.
